Please join Professors Carl LeVan (American University), Joseph Olayinka Fashagba (Federal University of Nigeria-Lokoja) and Edward R. McMahon (University of Vermont), for a discussion of their new edited volume. Essays on Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Africa's new oil exporters explore how decentralization, party politics, and fiscal federalism are shaping local legislative politics in Africa.
