How to believe that the peace deal signed and accepted by both sides in 2003 for a transitional government in DR Congo which ended in 2006 could resolve the tension created by political oppression and totalitarian in rule? My worry is to continue stating that Peace and security will never get a successful settle when Government authorities continue to silence activists with threats, violence, intimidation and arbitrary arrests. In Eastern Congo, there still more than dozen of armed groups which remain active. I inform you that many of their commanders lead forces that have been and still responsible for numerous war crimes for which few have been held accountable but unclear to the sought of victims. Congolese army soldiers have also been and still responsible for abuse against the civilian population they are meant to protect. Who can believe this when western Medias are focused their cameras to Syria and Iraq conflicts and crisis and behind them there is bloodshed against unarmed citizens are killed and where more than six million civilians continue killed, massacred and persecuted without any special attention to this? DR Congo can be the source of the collapse of Africa stability and security as in large for the entire world if international community continue to minimize the fact.
