Code part of assignment 3

Hello!

I cannot install the library I'm covering in assignment 3 (HLearn). I have _really_ tried and finally given up after many hours of getting close.
Is it required for pass to have code examples that run? it would instead be code examples that really should run if the library would be installed.
In the case of Hlearn it should be pretty short and non-obscure code that is believable to be correct given the library interface.
There is still quite alot to say about the implementation of the library and interface.

Also, hopefully not related. Was there a re-lab for this semester and does it apply if you fail parts of the lab (not only upgrading pass grades..) ?

HLearn [0] could be a difficult case: it depends on [1] which says it is deprecated in favour of [2]. Note that all three are by the same github user so the only way forward (for installation help) would be to ask him.

About the "re-lab" opportunity: Yes, there will be a possibility also in 2015. The dates have not been set yet but I include below the description from 2012 which should be similar this year.

For those of you who have tried but not passed the AFP labs I have

decided to offer a "re-lab" opportunity in August (around the time for the

written re-exam 2013-08-26 [1]). If you are interested, you need to hand

in your lab solution(s) by email and "book" a presentation / oral exam

time when I can make it.

The deadlines are B, D and D+2

* let B <= 2013-08-12 for "booking" a presentation slot

* pick 2011-08-12 <= D <= 2011-08-28 for handing in the lab(s)

* then D+2 is the day for the presentation slot

Or in words: 

1. register your intent to do a re-lab no later than 2013-08-12

2. I will assign you an "oral lab-exam" slot

3. hand in your lab solutions no later than two days before the "oral lab exam"

PS. The re-exam 2012-08-26 follows the usual pattern with registration etc. handled by the central admin.

Yes. But finally after alot of trickery to make it almost work I couldn't get some C libraries working which ghc depended on - Windows specific problem. Also tried schools computers, without luck. (So I conclude that I must buy the new macbook) Probably I can make it work if I get linux..
