It gives me a great pleasure and satisfaction, to inform you about the feasibility and desirability of compiling information about the leaders in agriculture. The people, who by their hard work, visionary approach, managerial capacity have made tremendous contributions in different sub-sectors of agriculture. Inspite of numerous odds, financial constraints, tremendous population pressure and varied socio-economic forces at play, substantial progress has been achieved in all aspects of agriculture and agro based industries. “Government in some cases have eulogized and recognized the role of some of the workers in the nation building activities. However, much more remains to be done”. It is expected that the document would be an evidence of the tireless efforts made to bring about efficiency and to attain higher productivity and a testimony to the salient achievements. It should foster closer collaboration and understanding between individual workers, departments, organizations, institutions and industries working for common goals. This should also promote consultation process. Above all it would be a glowing tribute to the dedicated workers.

 

 It has been decided to collect information about the workers who have already made their mark in their productive pursuits and are engaged in nation building activities. Your role in this respect is distinct and deserves recognition and appreciations. It would be a matter of great privilege for us, if you would kindly give consent for the inclusion of your biographic sketch, not to exceed two pages, in the proposed national document, “Who is Who in Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry”.

 

Trust you will kindly concur in the proposal and return the completed proforma at your earliest convenience. A copy of the publication would be supplied no sooner it is out of the press.

 

The Agricultural Foundation of Pakistan is a non-political and non-profit NGO. Presently its resources come from membership fees and donations. To meet the cost of printing of proposed publication substantial funds would be needed. To share the coast of printing and related, expenditure, you are requested to contribute a minimum amount of Rs. 300.00 The payment through a bank draft in favor of Agricultural Foundation of Pakistan, may kindly also be considered and sent alongwith the completed proforma. Your assistance in the preparation of document of national significance would be greatly appreciated.
