Afternoon on Nonviolent Strategy with George Lakey, STARHAWK and David Solnit THIS THURSDAY 1/31 @ 1:30PM

Dear Friends,
 
George Lakey, one of the best strategists and nonviolent trainers 
in the world, will be in SF this week! 
 
We are organizing a gathering of people who are and/or were active 
in the Occupy movement and/or are working on building nonviolent 
campaigns - around stopping foreclosure of homes, student loans, 
stopping the war in Afghanistan etc.
 
 
We’ll spend the afternoon of Thursday, January 31 with George 
exploring Strategy for our movement(s) and how to develop more 
powerful strategy. 
 
Starhawk and David Solnit will also be with us.
 
Global Exchange office conference room
1:30pm for 2-3 hours.
Thursday, January 31
 
If you know others who are organizers and would
like to become more effective organizers and strengthen their skills 
for building good strategy, feel free to invite them as well.  
 
The Global Exchange office is at 2017 Mission St 
(near 16th Street and next to McDonalds) 2nd floor.
You need to be buzzed in and come up the stairs.
