Dear Deborah,
EBHO is hiring a Director of Interfaith Programs!
Over the last eight years, EBHO has developed a powerful network of faith leaders and organizations for housing justice. The Interfaith Communities United for Affordable Housing (ICU) program has significantly expanded faith communities’ support for affordable housing, and has increased the capacity of the faith community to address the housing crisis in the East Bay and beyond.
From 2004 to 2011, Reverend Phil Lawson led this work as EBHO's Director of Interfaith Programs. Reverend Lawson retired in December, and was honored at EBHO's May 11 Kickoff Celebration of Affordable Housing Week for his decades of inspiration and action for social, economic, and housing justice in the East Bay and beyond (if you couldn't make the event, see our slideshow here). While Reverend Lawson continues his movement-building and remains a key advisor to EBHO's Interfaith programs, now, we are excited to recruit a new leader to expand and deepen the connections among interfaith leaders and congregations, community organizations, and housing advocates. Please pass the word to a leader you know!
The Interfaith Program Director, a half-time position, is responsible for coordinating EBHO's Interfaith Communities United for Affordable Housing (ICU) program, an initiative to broaden and deepen the engagement of faith-based organizations and leaders as advocates for affordable housing for the lowest income communities.

Sincerely,
Amie Fishman
Executive Director
