My dear Asija,

 

You are indeed a multi-faceted personality. Now you are a poet, now a philosopher, and god knows what else, but with this pubic topic becoming public I feel that I should join the frey.

How do you say that most Indian women shave their pubis? I know you do lot of PV sonography but  from which class do your patients come? I guess must be quite elite. Because even these days women from middle-class, let alone lower middle class, do not shave pubis or underarms. It is the fashionable upper class ladies who do it. I had my share of viewing these areas in my profession and I can say this with reasonable certainty.

How do you say that western women do not shave. There of course, our knowledge comes solely from XXX films. But I have seen that there are both, clean shaven and fuzzy pudenda.  Finally it is a matter of individual choice. Even husbands have a lot to say about it.

Absolutely not.An honest person is never afraid the air his/her thoughts.A few of us forward mails on various subjects because we still feel alive.Life is a mixture of all tastes.Perhaps you know that in the South India,in Karnataka on Ugadi [new years] day we have a prasadamj made of jaggery and neem flowers  the first thing after prayers.I was a puzzled 15 years old when I asked my Father,why spoil the sweet taste of Jaggery?My Father explained that we pray to God to grant us sweet things also in life to mellow the bitter. I know I have digressed a bit.We have spoken of death because we have a cause to grieve.This is washed away for a while by the pleasure of other things.
