What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select "Keep AFloat"
2. Don't select "Keep this window on the screen on all spaces"
3. Change spaces

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the window in one space, but it shows up in all spaces.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I can't figure out how to check the version, but the guide says it's
version 2. I'm running 10.5.8.

Please provide any additional information below.
I am using this with Stickies. I removed stickies from the Spaces system
preferences. I am using
AFloat to label each of my spaces with a sticky with large bold text and
hiding it under the dock.
When I have another window dipping below the dock however, it covers up the
sticky. But if I
select keep afloat for that sticky, it goes on all spaces, hence foils my
intention to label spaces.

With Afloat 2.2 (as at 5 Jul 2011) on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (10K540), I find
exactly the opposite issue occurring:

When I select Keep Afloat, in Stickies and Text Edit, the window stays
afloat, in one space.

When I select All Spaces, in Stickies, the window stays in one space, and
the setting is gone when I open Adjust Effects again.

All Spaces affects Text Edit windows as it should, and they appear in all
spaces.

Was there an OS change between 10.5.8 and 10.6.8? Or an afloat change?

This could be related to bug 40, where the bitfield used to implement All
Spaces is being clobbered.
