I was looking through this book after accidentally finding it in the
music and art section at the Brooklyn Public Library before attending
the meetup and it had alot of global projects of interest that people
may draw from in various ways--

And I will throw out the idea that this is an example as to why there
needs to be a growing body of organized reference material and links,
a growing resource bank/pool to draw from.

A resource bank sounds like a great idea for the organization. My
initial thoughts are that it would be a web-based collection of
"links" to humanitarian design info, sustainable design info,
projects, new articles, etc. How would we do something like this.
Would it just entail setting up a "searchable" website, with some
defined organizational structure. I assume that someone would need to
manage this, unless cateloging software is available to do that for
us. Anyone familiar with how this would be done?

I like the idea of an annotated bibliography of books and websites
-maybe through facebook?
