It has come to my attention that you might have to have a google
account to participate in this forum. Is this a good idea or not??

Ok - I believe that the group now is set up so after you 'register'
and become a member of the group - you are then allowed to post.
These posts will be moderated in order to keep them free of
objectionable and offensive content.
