How Do I get Affixa To Be The Preferred Provider

I have used Affixa for years. Great service. But I just got a new computer. I installed Affixa but it is not the default provider (using gmail) and I cannot now use it. How do I set it up as the default program to be used when clicking internet email links? Thanks!

Hi Neil,

If you go to Affixa’s “Options” screen (http://support.affixa.com/kb/65), on the “Computer & Internet” tab it should say whether Affixa is your default mail application or not. If it’s not, you can click a button to make it so.

Failing that, you should be able to use the “Default Programs” option in the Start Menu to set Affixa as the “mailto” default.
