I just got my (first ever) segmentation fault running bulk_extractor
(1.2) against an image file and the issue is reproducible.

What would be the next steps to gather information for a bug report?
Re-run with debug options?

Rob,

There is a crashing bug in the 1.2 AES key identification routines. Please turn off AES (-xaes) and see if this fixes the problem.

You are also welcome to try the 1.2.1 pre-release. We're trying to get a build issue resolved.

I discovered another one since sending the email this morning.

Turning off aes fixed one of them. The other one takes about two
hours to reproduce so I will need to get back to you later about that.
