I just finished watching Jurassic World: Rebirth afdah and honestly, I didn’t expect it to hit this hard.
It’s not your usual “dinosaurs chasing people” formula. This one is deeper — it’s about a group of scientists who go into the jungle not to make a theme park, but to extract ancient DNA for medical use. Sounds smart, right? But nature doesn’t play along.
Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali are fantastic. The tone is way more serious than previous Jurassic movies, and the direction by Gareth Edwards is top-notch. The atmosphere is intense, the stakes feel real, and the visuals — especially the T-Rex and Mosasaur scenes — are wild.
I streamed it on Afdah (HD quality was great), and I honestly recommend it if you’re into sci-fi with real-world tension and ethical dilemmas.
Would love to hear others’ thoughts if you’ve seen it. Did it surprise you too?
