28 Years Later is exactly what I wanted from a sequel — dark, intense, and full of disturbing surprises. It’s not just a rehash of the earlier films. This one dives deeper into human nature and the messed-up ways people survive after everything has fallen apart.

The cult storyline? Creepy as hell. Sir Jimmy Crystal is one of the most unsettling characters in recent horror. And that “bone temple” scene? I’m still thinking about it.

The cinematography is gritty and raw, especially with some scenes shot on iPhone. It makes everything feel real, like you’re right there with Spike. And speaking of Spike — that kid carried the film like a pro.

If you love your horror thoughtful, eerie, and emotionally loaded, this is your movie.
