interested AFA

I am writing to express interest in joining AFA, initially for an introductory meeting as invited to attend during November 2021. I am experienced in both informal and formal meetings. As noted in the documents attached, I am skilled in dedicating my time and efforts into participating in student governance, committees and clubs. Entering the Pandemic most of my involvements went virtual, I graduated with my Bachelor’s and began the MBA program at CSUB AV. Please consider my involvement to become part of the AFA team.

Doesn’t such a “formal application” to join a service organization which is open to the public seem a little bit weird?
