I've got another question for you guys over there. I was on your inventory page, for the AES radio and radio accessories, and I noticed a bracket for remoting the rubber duck with assorted shorter lenghts ( not exceeding 25 feet) of LMR 400 cable. I've never heard of anyone else moving the rubber duck off of the can. How is that working for your dealers? It seems like a low cost alternative to going on to the roof.

A 10" x 4" L bracket (durabracket) is ideal for remoting a rubber duck antenna (indoors). The AES Radio can is not an ideal location for the antenna in many cases. Being so close to the wall is bad. Also, the powercoat pain on the can prevents the antenna from having a proper ground plane and can reduce transmission power by half in many cases. The durabracket provides a Great ground plane, gets the antenna off the wall, and allows you to move it to a better location away from pipes and metal stuff. (keep it at least three feet from metal and at least a foot down from the ceiling).
