Okay Joe, as the subject states, I'm wondering why the local AHJ's around the country haven't been pushing the Annunciator issue with stand-alone radio installations.
Without an annunciator used as an accessory to a  7788F a: tenant, property owner or Fire Inspector, really has no way of knowing locally, that the radio monitoring device for the waterflow fire condition is going to function if needed.
Is it true that a radio can sit in trouble or a zone can sit un-restored from the last test or alarm without any local annunciation or reminder signals going to the monitoring center? Trouble conditions, zones in alarm, low battery conditions and bad network connectivity are all events that can't be ignored and should be evident at the site being monitored. From my experience even the  best service company can miss a service call or not place the same importance to keeping these conditions clear as the people working in or owning the building.

I believe most installations DO go in with a standard FACP, even if they only monitor a couple of zones.  Our Annunciator will negate the need for the FACP in many installations, allowing for a quicker install with less maintenance since it is completely powered from the AES Radio (and still allows the radio to perform for more then 24 hours).

The AES Receiver can send "Previously Reported Events" to the Automation.  But the standard daily TEST event is still generated instead of an ABNORMAL TEST event like most FACP's do.  Since a TEST event is a Daily event, it is better have it report a daily Abnormal Test since the Previously Reported Events don't come in on a regular basis.  An Abnormal Test event won't update the accounts daily test timers and cause the account to generate a DID-NOT-TEST report for the Dealers attention.  The Annunciator sends its own daily TEST event which should be supervised at the monitoring center.  If the system is not "Normal" then an Abnormal Test event will be sent instead.
