The Department General Elections 2012 are set to be held on 16 March
2012, Friday. Elections will be held for the following posts:

1. Department General Secretary
2. Class Representative B.Tech/DD II year
3. Class representative B.Tech/DD III year
4. Class representative B.Tech/DD IV year
5. Class representative DD V year
6. Class representative M.Tech. II year

The following are the important dates:

1. Filing of nominations: Monday, 5 March 2012 2359 hrs
2. Submission of manifesto: Friday, 9 March 2012 2359 hrs
3. Campaigning period: Saturday, 10 March 2012 0001 hrs - Wednesday, 14
March 2012 2359 hrs
4. SOPbox: Wednesday, 14 March 2012 (2030 hrs, Venue: TBA)
5. Silent day: Thursday, 15 March 2012
6. Election day: Friday, 16 March 2012

Important instructions:
1. Please mail your nominations and manifestos by the appropriate
deadline to ysc...@aero.iitb.ac.in, pjg...@aero.iitb.ac.in.
2. The appropriate electorate will be mailed a copy of the manifestos.
3. The electorate is advised to cast the votes wisely and without being
any influence.
4. Finally, any inappropriate behaviour during the entire election
period will be heavily dealt with.
