Introduction to Multirotors, with the Co-founder of Drona Aviation

Hey Everyone,

We are finally here with our next event. And it's a big one, for we are inviting the co-founder of Drona Aviation, Dinesh Sain, to give us an introduction to Multirotors.

Multirotors have been all the rage recently, from the time a quadcopter was featured in the blockbuster movie '3 Idiots' to today, when they are being used in a multitude of roles, from Aerial Photography and Surveillance to Emergency Response. Cargo delivery with such drones has been in the works for a while now, and the drone racing hobby has exploded into a worldwide phenomenon. Interesting research has also been conducted on how these drones can interact with humans, inanimate objects, and each other.

This introductory session will cover basic aspects of how these multi rotors work and also touch upon why they're being used everywhere.

Now, about Dinesh. He and two other alumni founded Drona Aviation to build a drone platform which can be customised to fit many roles such as industrial monitoring and fire fighting. He will bring along a number of these kits, which means that this is also a FLYING SESSION!
