The last Paragraph in my email is corrected as :
 
" I do NOT propose to raise this issue at the GBM on the 12th instant.
  If anybody raises it, I will be INERT ".
 
The internet got disconnected as I was typing the above Paragraph.
Hence this correction is being sent now.

The issue of revisiting  goals of Ae. S.I. is a serious issue and causes concern to perhaps many members. I would suggest that during the AGM, the Branch may constitute a subcommittee under the chairmanship of Prof. NSV to study the drift and suggest way for course correction to the Council of the Society.
