Hi Jack,

downloading large networks (such as Hannover) from OSM can be a little time-consuming in QGIS. Sometimes it might freeze the UI but the task still happens in the background.

One other thing I can recommend is to use AequilibraeE in Python to download the network and create the project. It is less prone to error when handling large networks.

Anyway, I'll check if the signals in QGIS are correctly displayed or if we're missing anything. In the meantime, try to download the network for a city such as Radofzell which is not very large, just to see what happens.

Cheers, Renata.

Hi Everyone,

I am very new to using AequilibraE, and I am running into another issue when I try to add Open Street Maps data or when I try to create the examples. I go to import the data following the guide. Each time I try to run the Create project from OSM, the command imports 0 nodes and 0 links, although it found the place in my query. I close said log and then QGIS freezes as it is completing another task. Then another report pops up reporting 0 links generated and 0 nodes generated, but just below the 0 nodes and 0 links the log reports 117,505 links generated and 90,337 nodes generated, although no links or nodes are imported into the project. I believe I am doing everything correct, but for some reason, I cannot get any links or nodes to be created in the project. Am I doing something wrong, or am I missing something that I need to install to get the extension to run properly?

Thanks in advance, and attached are my logs from the import,

Jack Stockman
