The text body on the entry posts on some templates needs to be a
wider.. at least almost twice as wide.

And the text in the journal body needs to be larger as well so it can
cover up the webpage if you are using 1024x768 or larger.

For that you can edit the templates yourself. I am fairly certain they
made them this way to make sure any resolution would be compatible,
not only 1024x768. Most people still use 800x600 (I know this because
of my stats).
