Kamal and I received a message from the school team which is appended
hereunder. We are forwarding it to all PTA members to sensitize everyone
about the concern expressed in the message. It is not our intention to
sound advisory or preaching at all. But we think that there can not be any
disagreement with a request to all parents to keep our interactions with
the school team mature and dignified.
Kindly, circulate it among your group members. ( it was received a
few days back ).
Thanks & regards,
Anand

Dear Mr. Gupta and Mr. Batra,
Just wanted to share with you that today , a parent
walked in to speak to a senior member of the academic team. As this was done
whilst the member was in a meeting with multiple teachers, the member stepped
out of her office. The parent then proceeded to express her displeasure about
the raffle tickets in the most aggressive and loud tones, the decibel levels
reached a pitch where the member had to ask the teachers to leave and ask the
parent to come in to her office.
We understand that there are multiple opinions
expressed about the raffle tickets, and a parent has every right to disagree or
be upset with the school regarding some decisions or perceived
decisions.
But at no point should a parent be so out of
control that they are unable to maintain their own dignity or keep in mind the
dignity of the other person. Such behavior is totally unacceptable.
Open and free communication between parents and
school is an integral part of the school philosophy, but can only be effective,
if all concerned display a level of maturity.
Warm Regards,
