It is well known that substances are readily available in the market. Substance abuse is common across all the groups of society, and unfortunately it is considered normal and acceptable. To reach out to the larger society, social media tools and peer advising will be utilized.
The project includes workshops titled “Description and Dangers of Substance Addiction”, “Risk Factors of Substance Addiction”, “Effects of Substance Abuse and Attitudes Toward Substance Abuse”, and “Positive Influence of Peer Advising on Substance Abuse” where the youth will be provided with information and experiences related to the topics. At the end of the workshop series, the participants will come up with effective slogans to go viral through social media platforms and reach the entire world.
