Dear Partners,

PRISM � Promozione Internazionale Sicilia-Mondo� will present the Youth in Action project, Sub-Action 1.3 �A EUROPEAN YOUNG CITIZENS�INITIATIVE�� for the 1^st February 2013 deadline.

We would like to invite you to join the project!

Please note that there must be minimum 2 promoters per country involved in the project (SO THAT YOU SHOULD GIVE ME THE APPLICATION OF TWO ORGANIZATIONS). Promoters must be independent (see Youth in Action guidelines).�

Summary

�A EUROPEAN YOUNG CITIZENS� INITIATIVE� is a Youth Democracy project under the Youth in Action programme, sub-action 1.3, that involves young people from 14 different youth organisations from EU countries. Overall, the project wants to provide a reflection and a practice on the �European citizens' initiative�. The project includes two transnational �community development� workshops and local actions/focus groups involving� young people in order to share their needs and wishes on matters relating to participation in democratic life and express their right of initiative by carrying out broad public consultations. Finally, a short guide �A European young citizens' initiative� will be created with the active involvement of all promoters, including the results of both local and international activities. The guide will be free to download in the project website and available in all partner languages.

Finding rules

75% of the total eligible costs: - Travel costs, Accommodation/food costs, Organisation of seminars, meetings, consultations, activities, Publications/translations / information costs, Dissemination and exploitation of results, Other costs directly linked to the implementation of the project
