Good Morning,

I was just wondering how other athletic departments, colleges, universities and high schools are going to handle the DOL wage laws that take affect December 2016.

Are you salaried/exempt and will continue to keep this status?

If you are going to be made exempt how was this done? How was it justified?

Are you hourly and will be converted to salary/exempt?

Are you salaried/exempt and will convert to an hourly employee and have to punch a clock or keep a time sheet?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Joe,

All the assistant equipment mangers her at University of Wisconsin – Madison are hourly wage and will stay that way.
