Hi there!
As we all know, the world will end in 2012! An epic apocalypse will
stroke the face of the earth, armageddon will blow us to pieces.. even
Bruce Willis will not be able to save us now! The mayan people already
predicted it ages ago, so it must be true!
(...just play along, will you...?)
So.. how about making your last New Year Event count and do all the
things you dreamt of doing! Now, we could be running around all day,
flying through the air making 'woosh'-sounds, lifting skyscrapers,
climbing into trees saving little kittens and walking on water, but
being epic only defines a small part of our lovely event (don't worry,
there will be water...). Mostly, we will ask you to open your hearts and
minds for the wonders of Dutch culture... in winter! Pull on your warm
jacket, your mittens and your comfortable woolly hat and get ready for
wintery fun... the Dutch way!
Iceskate like a champion while getting to know like-minded lovely participants!
Experience the lovely Dutch landscape in the most wunderful of
seasons! If you have ever been to a museum you MUST have seen winter
landscapes, painted by Dutch masters... pretty amazing right?
Now imagine not only seeing Leiden, but also Amsterdam? Or how about
the Royal capital The Hague? Or modern Rotterdam for a change?
"Oh my god! That sounds amazing! My life wouldn't be complete if I
would miss this event! How can I possibly sign up and join you people
for one heck of a week?"
It is highly encouraged to... *drumroll*... APPLY! You've done this
before, now haven't you? In case the answer is 'no', it is not
encouraged.. it is OBLIGATORY! We wouldn't want you to miss out on the
AEGEE experience and especially not on this one!
So... you thought we Dutch people were very down-to-earth? That might be
true, but with the oncoming catastrophe, after which earth will be
nothing more some tiny bits of mud and water, floating through the
universe, we are more than ever inspired to leave ground! We would
love to do so with you, wonderful AEGEE people! Let's have a blast!
