Dear members,

 

It’s hard to believe that we are already into March.  2022 has the feeling of another turbulent year and our thoughts go out to those currently affected by the flood crisis, not to mention the events unfolding in Europe.

 

Please find attached the draft minutes from the 2021 AGM held on 8 December.  Any members who attended the AGM may wish to provide comment/corrections at this time, or may reserve these comments for the next AGM towards the end of the year, when we hope to meet in person for our annual conference.

 

At this time, the executive would like to take expressions of interest to those wishing to be involved on the AEES committee for 2022.  Please email me with your expression of interest by 9 March and we will notify successful candidates shortly.

 

Finally, speaking of the conference, I can announce that we have confirmed the Victorian Emergency Management Institute in Mount Macedon on the 24-25 November as the venue for the 2022 conference.  We have an exciting agenda and we look forward to sharing more details shortly.
