Dear colleagues,

 

Please see the notice below for Julian Bommer’s Mallet-Milne lecture in early June for those willing to face the early morning start (3 am on the east coast, I think).  The lecture is accompanied by a 245-page “paper” in the Bulletin of Earthquake Engineering.  A link to the open access paper may be found below.

On Wednesday 8th June I will be delivering the 17th Mallet-Milne lecture on “Earthquake Hazard and Risk Analysis for Natural and Induced Seismicity: Towards Objective Assessments in the Face of Uncertainty”. The lecture will be presented in person at the Institution of Civil Engineers in London and also live streamed (registration required):
