The next planning meeting for the 2011 Arkansas Earth Day Festival
will be held next Monday, February 21, at 6:00pm at the Green Corner
Store on Main Street. Everyone is welcome, and please let me know if
you plan to attend (fest...@arkansasearthday.org).
On March 17th several volunteers will be needed to participate in the
launch of the Green Guide, an event co-sponsored by the Arkansas Earth
Day Foundation. The evening will be exciting, with a green fashion
show, local beverages from Diamond Bear, and introduction of this
year's Eco Heroes. It's an invitation only event, so volunteer
early!
We need people to set up and clean up that evening. Volunteers will
probably be needed between 5:00pm and 10:00pm, but not everyone would
need to stay the entire time.
