Hi All,

 

Happy Monday and thank you for doing your part to save the planet. A few brief things here:

 

1.) Applications for sponsorship, performer, and booth at this year's Arkansas Earth Day Festival is Wed, March 25th. Now is the time to guilt your parents, your siblings, your company and your dog to buck up and sign up for the Greatest Environmental Event in the State of Arkansas! Pull out all the stops and get people on board! This festival is only as great as we want to make it. Help us snub our noses at the recession and laugh in the face of people that say "green is expensive". Let us prove them wrong once and for all that saving the planet can be done from Massachusetts to California, from a slum to a penthouse, in our own back yards to the isles of the United States Congress!

 

Applications can be found on our website at www.ArkansasEarthDay.org. Our Informative packet is attached for all those who would like to spread the electronic word. Share this with everyone please, including Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Non-profits, Organizations, Associations, Agencies, Clubs, Knitting Groups...uh, they can come too!

 

2.) Our 6% for the Planet Program is up and running. If you have a business or know of one, big or small, please talk to them about this great new creative fundraising scheme. It's a simple donation of 6% of total sales on the National Earth Day, April 22nd, 2009. The packet and sign up information is attached. We need to get the sign up second sheet back to us . Please contact Robyn, Chris or Danelle if you have questions about how it works or you would like us to contact someone.

Thank you all and Go Get Them! Remember: One more booth or sponsor at the festival could result in TEN more people educated, inspired and motivated!
