Reminder: Tomorrow Sign Making Part for Festival

Hello All,

 

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Monday April 11th at 6PM we will be meeting to make all the signs for the Earth Day festival. If you come late, we will be next door to The Green Corner Store at Village Commons (1423 South Main, #C, Little Rock AR 72202). Snacks and drinks will be provided. We will be working till 9PM. You can come and go anytime, please don't feel like you have to stay later than you want to.

 

We are in need of paint, brushes, wood screws, one drill, foam core board, rope, sturdy cardboard, legible handwriting, creative minds, and stakes/bamboo/wood posts to hang signs. BRING ALL YOUR FRIENDS, COWORKERS, FAMILY-tell them that it is for a good cause or bribe them with a free past year's earth day t-shirt.

 

We have various old boards, 4 dry erase boards (use for merchandise prices, info updates, schedules, etc), some paint, few brushes, old bed sheets for banners, some rope/string, bamboo, staple guns, staples, markers, 2 a-frame signs we can cover for direction signs, three directional posts we can attach arrows for where parts of the festival are located. We have an artist painting our welcome banner, main stage banner, elevate stage banner, and 3-4 general info banners to hang around North Little Rock the week before the festival.

 

We will be making signs for: parking, directions, festival locations (i.e., kid's fun, educational booths, marketplace), booth information, and live green tips that will be posted around the grounds.

 

Also, if you know anyone that we can use their printer/copier for free to print out items for the day of the festival, please let me know. We will need to print out boring contact lists and maps (50 copies).
