Hello.

I want to ask to 'import'.

Recently I upgraded Thunderbird from 52.9.1 to 78.14.0.
Before upgraded, when I changed rdf or json, Clippings changed automatically and shortly.
But after upgraded, I need to import again.
It doesn't change automatically.

How can I use clippings not to import again?

Thank you.

Unfortunately, there's no way around it -- it is necessary to import your clippings after upgrading from Clippings 5.5 or older.

If you have backed up your clippings, you should be able to import the backup files in Clippings Manager (click Tools -> Import). If you don't have any backups that you made yourself, you should be able to find the RDF data source file in your Thunderbird profile folder named "clipdat2.rdf" -- copy that file to a location on your system, such as the Desktop, then import it from Clippings Manager.

You can find out where your Thunderbird profile folder is located by reading this Thunderbird Support article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data

Thank you for responding. And I'm sorry to reply late.
I understand this.

Then、I want to ask to the other things. It's Clippings Manager.
When I change clippings from Clippings Manager,『clippings.json』 doesn't change.
But I can use clippings after changing sentense.

When I change clippings from Clippings Manager, where does data keep?

Thank you.

The data is stored in an IndexedDB database file located in your Thunderbird profile folder.
