Clippings-tb 6.01 doesn't insert text in e-mail (TB 78.11.0)

Clippings-tb 6.01 doesn't insert text in email (TB 78.11.0).

Do you have any ideas why ?

I have several questions:

Which OS are you using?

Are you trying to insert a clipping into a message editor?

How is the clipping being inserted -- is it from the Clippings context menu, or from the keyboard paste dialog (invoked in Windows 10 by pressing Alt+Shift+Y, or Cmd+Option+V on macOS)?

Is the email message plain text or HTML formatted? Are there any HTML tags in the clipping being pasted?

Is this issue consistently happening with any clipping, and in any message editor window (composing a new message or replying to a message)?

I'm using Windows 10,

I'm clickiing in Clippings icon in status bar of new email window. New window appears "Clippings Manager - Mozilla Thunderbirds".

Next I select clipping from the list and double clicked on it but nothing appears in email window. I have tested it for new email, for reply, with HTML and plain text - still nothing.

Double-clicking on a clipping in Clippings Manager to paste it into a message composer window is not supported in Clippings for Thunderbird 6. A fix for this may be considered for a future release. In the meantime, right-click on the message composer body and select a clipping to paste from the Clippings menu.
