Hey.  As you all know, some of us feel now is the time to discuss equal civil rights for our community.  If not now, when?  We hope to have your support as we step forward.   We are in friendly contact with the Gillibrand's Campaign Office and have assured them this is a friendly vigil - albeit daily.  And we've had nice conversations so far with the NAACP and NYCLU, who clearly understand our reasons.  They are discussing their position and we should know something either way soon.   But above all, it is your support, opposition or silence that will determine our trajectory.  Please at least wish us luck with the weather, it's supposed to rain Monday, and October looks to be cold!  I'm not looking forward to being outside everyday I promise!

What ever you have to say, please know we are doing what we believe in our hearts to be our duty.
