Subject: Kiln Repair Services

Hello everyone, I want to let you know about services and resources I can offer for your kilns and wheels. It’s hard to believe I’ve just hit the 20 year mark for experience with working on studio equipment. I was trained by Rogier Donker and the Engineers at AMACO/brent; I worked there for 6 years in the Engineering Department doing things like repair and quality control of new (and old) wheels and kilns.
I offer diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of all electric kilns and (most) pottery wheels. I can help with slab rollers and clay extruders as well. More importantly I offer educational services if you’d like to learn how to work on your own equipment or learn more about firing your kiln. My goal is to create an army of educators that keep their clay programs alive because they are comfortable and confident to maintain the required studio equipment.
I can also use my experience to help you navigate respectfully requesting (demanding) your studio equipment be supported with the district’s equipment funds- not your precious art supply funds 💪
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help with your ceramics program. I’m now officially an LLC and insured to work in schools. I’m based in the Indianapolis area, and am willing to travel. Thanks for supporting ceramics in your schools 😊
