Hello all you amazing art educators! In case you don't know me- my name is Elyse Abbott, and I am the new Youth Art Month Coordinator for Indiana! :)

It is that time of year again to get to work on the YAM Flag design contest for YAM 2025, as our AEAI Fall convention is fast approaching! I have attached the template and information sheet to this email!

This years' theme is "Healing Through Color" and there will now be two age categories- meaning there will now be TWO winning designs! K-5 and 6-12 are the new age categories.

Teachers attending the fall convention will vote for their favorites on site. Both the winning designs will be printed on flags. The K-5 winning flag will hang at the state house to be on display with our Youth Art Month art show in March. And the 6-12 winning flag will travel to NAEA in Louisville in March for the national YAM exhibit.

Each teacher will be allowed to submit SIX (6) flag design entries.

The deadline to ship is 11/9, or you can bring to the fall convention in person and turn in on 11/15. Please see the template for shipping address info.

Please do not hesitate if you have any questions, and I am so excited to see the flag designs for this year!
