INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
ART SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION
This annual competition will give scholarships in both studio and cognitive
areas
The Department of Art at Indiana State University is pleased to announce the
Creative and Performing Arts Awards competition. All work must be
received at the Art Office no later than Monday, March 4, 2013. Each
undergraduate scholarship provides an annual amount ranging from approximately
$2,000 to $6,000 that is renewable for four years. Particularly talented
art students may also be eligible for advanced placement within our program.
To receive an award, the student must first apply and be admitted to Indiana State University
by March 1, 2013, prior to the awards competition. Applications for
admission can be found on the Indiana State University Home Page: htpp://www.indstate.edu.

Details on eligibility and how to apply accompany this letter along with entry
forms and rules for the competition. Students should pay particular
attention to the directions for digital portfolio presentation, and should
consult with their art teacher in preparing their materials. Papers may also be
submitted by students interested in pursuing a degree in Art History or Art
Education. See the accompanying guidelines for the paper presentation.

students.
