Hello all of you amazing art teachers out there! 

I apologize for the delay in getting you all registration info and the link for YAM 2026- but now being four months postpartum- I have been behind on things! But now is the time to get things rolling for our Youth Art Month Kickoff Event on Sunday March 1st, 2026 at the Indiana State House!

I have attached the registration information document that also includes the required labels template to this email! 

Please be sure to complete the YAM 2026 Registration Form as soon as possible if you are planning on submitting student artwork- as this gives me a better heads up for planning for display space as well as what to expect for attendance to our event!  But registration will be open until February 20th! 

*Please remember this year we also have a special collaboration for you middle and high school teachers. There will be a separate judged event that will also be on display along with our YAM artwork- and that is for the Indiana Wildlife Artists! There will be six awards given with cash prizes- 2 for middle school artists and 4 for high school artists. The IWA is very specific on what animals and plant-life can be included in the artwork for this juried show- so please ensure students do not include anything (plants or animals) that are at all domesticated. If anyone would like a more specific breakdown of what is allowed and not, please email me at y...@aeai.org, and I would gladly share that information with you! I will be providing the labels for that artwork as well via email, and when registering for YAM there will be a question for that as well!
