Subject: Building Bridges: Inspiring Global Exchange Project for Teachers with South Korea

Dear Educators,

We are pleased to share the meaningful results of the 2025 Global Exchange Project for Teachers (GEPT), a collaboration between the Jeonbuk State Office of Education and Pathways to Cross-Cultural Understanding (PCCU).

In its pilot year, the excellent teachers Nicolette Hernke in the U.S. and Gahwi Han in South Korea came together to share lesson ideas and bring each other’s approaches into their classrooms, creating a rich and meaningful cross-cultural learning experience. Their collaboration inspired students to explore new perspectives and express their ideas in creative and thoughtful ways.

We will begin the 2026 GEPT project soon. Thank you to everyone who applied and expressed interest. Please reply to this email if you are still interested in participating. We will contact you individually as we match you with teachers from South Korea.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at pc...@pcrosscultural.com.

Stay tuned!

Theresa
