Globalization in my eyes
First, in my opinion, globalization is a kind of tendency that anyone
couldn’t prevent that. As the same to this sentence in our text,
globalization is a reality, not a choice.
In China, it has a great change in people’s mind. After there
reforming and opening, many foreign ideas get into China. With the
exchange of the culture, many people start to accept the western
culture, even the of western thinking. When I was a little girl, I
often heard like that. If somebody was praised for clothes, appearance
etc, he would say some modest words to show his politeness. But now,
it is very different from that time. We will say “Thank you!” to
respond others’ praise.
Globalization means that every country must share weal and woe.
In 2008, everyone will pay attention to the new economic crisis
beginning in the Wall Street in America. At this time, all the
countries are struck strongly against the economic crisis. As to
China, many textile mills go bankrupt. It is not difficult to imagine
that. Most Chinese textile products would export to America and other
countries. Now, because of this economic crisis, a large number of
workers are out of work. Many banks close down. Maybe, they have no
ability or desire to buy the products. That one can imagine, the
Chinese textile mills only have one choice.
Globalization gives us more and more convenient and high-speed.
But I think, it is very proper to use a Chinese old saying to describe
the current world. “All of us are locusts in one line.” The fast
development will benefit us, but crisis is coming. To save our world,
it is our common duty.
