Globalization in My Eyes Rose Pan 6号
When I see the term “globalization”, the first word coming into my mind is “foreign”. We are learning foreign languages. We can meet foreigners frequently. However, just 100 years ago, only a few people in China knew foreign languages. Once I saw a movie in which a foreigner from a small country came into China. To our disappointed , China could not find a interpreter to communicate with him but now from the 2008 Beijing Olympic games we can see that China can translate every language from every country.. This is the language globalization.
Following the globalization of language, some changed quietly in the world. If we can communicate with each other freely, everything is possible. We can chat with our friends abroad on the Internet. We can buy other countries’ goods in China. We can go abroad to study and work. We are using the inventions made by the human nature all over the world. We are cooperating on protecting the environment. We see the world as a small village and all of us are villagers.
Globalization is a inevitable tendency that can not be avoided by any country. We are taking advantage of the advanced technology of foreign countries to serve for us. While we get benefit from globalization we should keep our mind clear. We absorb foreign countries ‘ideas and cultures and fuse them with our own culture. As a result, we form a unique Chinese culture which can adopt to the developing of the world.
