Hello All,

The plan for the AeroIndia Airshow is as follows:

Leave the Institute on Friday(20th February) night, by a private bus and reach Bangalore the next morning - 21st Feb, Saturday. 

Attend the show from 9am -12noon on the 21st of Feb , and have a look at the stalls after the show.

Leave Bangalore by around 6-7 pm and return back to Chennai on the same night(21st Feb).

All the travel expenses i.e., the cost of the bus, have to be borne by the students. This may come to around <=1500 per person.

The department is trying to arrange for passes for the show and for visiting the stalls. It is not yet confirmed if we will get free passes or not. If we don't get free passes, the students will have to pay for their passes. 

In order to arrange for passes, the department requires a softcopy of each students ID Card.

The department is also trying to arrange for a place for all of us to freshen up on the morning of 21st Feb. 

Prof. Manikandan Mathur will be accompanying us for the tour.

All those who are interested, please upload the softcopy/image of your ID Card in this folder: Link before Tuesday, 17th February,11:59 pm , with the file name as <Your Name, Roll No>.

Please abide strictly by the deadline. 

Upload the ID Card image only if you are absolutely sure you are going to make it to the trip. The type of bus being booked (and the cost) will depend on this.

Also note, the final amount to be paid by each student will be informed to you soon. This amount will have to be paid on or before 19th February, Thursday.

This is an intra-departmental trip and is not restricted to students of any specific batch. All students of the Aerospace Department are welcome.

            We need to book the bus and we require advance amounts for the same. So, everyone are requested to pay 1500 Rs before 2 00 PM tomorrow (19/2- Wed) to the below mentioned people. Remaining money will be refunded at the end of the trip.

Dear all,

          We have booked two buses (one 55 seater and a mini bus). The people who haven't paid the amount yet, (Amit Pratap Singh, Ankit Raj, Dheeraj Varma, Kaushal Jha, Keerthi Balakumar, Raksha Rao, Ravi Ranjan and Muddasu Noah.) please pay INR 1500 before 12 00 noon tomorrow to Dheepak or me. 

Here are the important guidelines for the journey. Please be on time. Delay in starting from insti may cause us to lose the place for freshening up and may be the tickets too.

• The buses will arrive at 10 15 PM, tomorrow at Jamuna bus stop. So, whoever wishes to board the bus from Jam bus stop, report at Jam before 10 15 PM.
  
• Next halt will be at GC, at 10 20 PM. So, whoever wishes to board from GC, report at GC before 10 20 PM. We'll be leaving from GC at 10 30 PM.
• We'll be arriving at BMS college of engineering for freshening up at 5 30 AM on Saturday. We'll be having breakfast over there.
• After that, we'll be going to the Airshow venue. 
• We'll be leaving from Bangalore at 5 00 PM. So, make sure you report at the bus by this time. 

Important stuff to be carried with you.

• Insti ID card (MUST) Entry to the airshow won't be possible if you don't have it.
• Bring 1 set of clothes with you. (Not compulsory)
• Minimum extra cash of 600 Rs (in case of any emergency; if tickets are not provided to us.) and for your food expenses.
