Call for Applications for the AEA Managerial Team 2015-2016

Dear all,

           As you all are aware, Aerospace Engineering Association(AEA) has successfully completed one year of activities and I [Athul P G, 9445420516] have been elected as the Secretary of AEA for the next academic year. I look forward to working with you for another exciting year for AEA. This mail is a call for members for the AEA Managerial Team 2015-2016.

         

          The AEA Managerial Team consists of the President(Faculty Advisor), Secretary, Treasurer, Events Team and Operations Team The available positions, brief description and eligibility criteria are given below :

1. Treasurer        : 1 post 

    Treasurer will be in charge of AEA Finances.

    Eligibility : 2nd years and above for B.tech/DD and all PG, MS and Ph.D Students

2. Events Team : 2 posts  

    This team will be in charge of planning and coordination of the various AEA activities.

    Eligibility : 2nd years and above for B.tech/DD and all PG, MS and Ph.D Students.

3. Operations Team : 3 posts 

   This team will be assist the Events Team if the execution of all AEA activities.

   Eligibility : 1st years and above for B.tech/DD.

     Please send a mail to the Secretary (secretary...@gmail.com) with your preferences before 11.59PM , 19 April, 2015  Also, answer these three questions in your application.

1. What are your ideas to have more participation in various activities and events? 
2. Pick one event AEA had organised and comment on the pros and cons of that event.
3. What were the shortcomings of AEA last year and how could they be improved upon?

Hi all,

Along with the posts mentioned in my previous mail, applications are invited for one more position :

1. Alumni Relations and Outreach        : 1 post 

    Will be in charge of AEA's alumni relations and other out reach programs for alumni.

    Eligibility : 2nd years and above for B.tech/DD and all PG, MS and Ph.D Students.

Also the deadline for posts has been extended to 11.59 PM, 21 April 2015.
