Hey everyone,

The Aero-India Airshow is scheduled to be held from 18th Feb (Wednesday) - 22nd Feb (Sunday) 2015 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bangalore. This is a biennial airshow and aviation exhibition organized by Defence Exhibition Organization of the Defence Ministry of India in association with Indian Air Force, DRDO, Dept. of Space, the Union Civil Aviation Ministry of India, etc. This is the largest Airshow in Asia and I personally feel that it is definitely worth a visit for an aerospace engineering student.

The per day ticket cost is INR 600 and you are expected to register online. (Link: https://www.aeroindia.in/GeneralVisitorLandingPage.aspx )
Also, please note that general visitors are not allowed on the 18th till 1 00 PM.

21st and 22nd Feb falls on a weekend (Sat & Sun) and thus you guys can plan batch trips to the airshow. Please note that AEA will not be organizing this trip. Also note that Quiz I is scheduled between 18th - 26th Feb. If you are interested to go, it's advised to book off the train/flight tickets as early as possible. (Tickets booking for the above dates just started in irctc)

For reference, Academic Calendar for Jan - May 2015 -

Warm
Regards,
