Department T-Shirt Design Competition

Dear all,

           As last year, we will be having a department T-Shirt this year as well. But, this time, let's have a design competition among all the aero students and choose the best design by voting. The winner will get free T-shirts (both round neck & collared). So, start designing! 

Here are a few basic guidelines.

1) You should send designs for both round neck and collared Tees.

2) There is no limit for the number of entries a person can submit.

3) The design should contain AEA logo (you can find it on our facebook page) and the expansion (Aerospace Engineering Association).

4) Needless to say, people will be expecting a catchy phrase as well as "Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Madras" on the T-Shirt.

One clarification. We'll be having both collared and round neck of the same design. Please don't confuse thinking that only one design is having a collared counterpart and so you should be voting for that one. So, as of now, please vote for the basic design.

          Here are the results of the T-shirt design competition. 

Design 1 (Hanut, 2nd year BTech) - 31 votes

Design 3 (Prithish, 1st year MTech) - 22 votes

Design 7 ( Joel, PhD) - 15 votes

             Thanks to everyone for participating and congrats to Hanut for winning the competition. PFA - the winning design. We contacted quite a few Tshirt vendors and the quote given by "eSparsha" was selected based on cost and quality considerations. The prices are given below. 

Cost of 

          Round neck : 160 Rs/pc (for 200 - 300 orders)

          Polo           :  250/pc (for 200 - 300 orders)

Prices are subject to change depending on the number of orders.
