Adventure Activity by IAF

Hi all,

In association with the Interaction Drive by Indian Air Force in the institute on Monday 1st September, adventure activities such as para-sailing and para hang gliding are planned to be conducted.

So the parasailing activity will be conducted in the Institute Stadium and for the para hang gliding, students will be taken to the Air Force field in Tambaram. The parasailing in the Institute will take place immediately after their talk, and it will be completed in around 2 hours time. Students selected for para hang gliding will be taken to Tambaram at 2:00PM and the activities there might go on till 6-7PM.

The officials from Tambaram Air Force field had visited the campus today and they have requested for a list of students who'll be interested in taking part in the adventure activities. They need to get some clearances done for these students and they need some basic details of the students as well.

I had received around 90 responses to the form I circulated! Since all of them can't be accommodated, according to the preferences by the Air Force, the adventure activities are going to be limited to final year students. I'm attaching another form in this mail, and based on the responses in this, students will be selected on a first come first serve basis. In case not enough students from final year are interested, it'll be open to pre-final years.
