Link Checker | Google Ads Script Update

Hello,

Due to the upcoming change, Google Ad Scripts will move over to the new experience on October 31, 2022.

Does anyone know of an updated version of the legacy Link Checker Script?https://developers.google.com/google-ads/scripts-legacy/docs/solutions/link-checker 

Want to make sure when this update happens that we have an updated script that will be able to function.

I'm afraid that there is no current solution scripts available for Link Checker in the new scripts experience documentation guide. However, rest assured that our team is constantly working in updating our documentation and should be able to add more guides and solution scripts in the future. We recommend to check our documentation at a later date for this possible updates.

I can see that the Link Checker script has been updated for a Single Account Version:

Unfortunately, currently the new scripts experience has no "Larger-scale Link Checker - Single Account" solution available. For the meantime, you may use the Link Checker - Single Account solution script which is now available on the new scripts experience.

Rest assured that we are constantly working on updating our documentation and should be able to add more guides and solution scripts in the future. For any updates on this, I suggest that you keep an eye on our blog or our latest documentation.

I’m James, also from the Google Ads scripts support team. 

Confirming that our solution scripts such as Link checker for Manager account will be soon migrated in the new script experience version. For now, I suggest that you continue to execute the said solution script in the legacy version of Google Ads script (by toggling off the new experience option in the script interface in the meantime), until it has been fully migrated and released in our latest documentation.

Rest assured that the team will surely provide best effort to reduce the script changes, so that the migration of the solution script will be hasslefree and easy to our users. The team will also provide an ample amount of time for users migrating to the new solution script once available. For any updates on this, I suggest that you keep an eye to our blog or our latest documentation.

Hi! I am also having problems with this Link Checker from Google. Looks like the script is from 2015. Is there a newer link checking script that works? It would be super helpful!!!

Hi Nils,

are you aware of any new version of the MCC Script as well?

We are facing some issues with the function that excludes paused entities (e.g. sitelinks) and I was wondering if it might be related to the script version we are running (@version 2.2).

Hi all,

sorry for the late reply. We've updated the MCC LinkChecker with the version 3.1 you've sent, but the issue stays. We are still unable to prevent the script from testing paused ads and sitelinks despite the NO setting in cell C8 and C10 of the spreadsheet.

Could you please help us figuring out what is wrong?

I need a script that stops the keyword if there are 2 clicks within 1 minute on a keyword that receives clicks, and automatically opens it after 5 minutes.
