Hi,


It seems to be getting blocked while trying to create a new Google ads script in the MCC account as we are working on an ads extension disapproval Report. When we authorized the script, an error occurred. Please see the attached screenshot to see the error message. We also tried to test the script by just adding simple code like console.log("Hello") in the script but it did not resolve the issue.

We are not sure why we have started receiving it now as we've put a number of scripts without any blocked issues already.
Can you please have a look and see what could be the issue?
And, Also we tried GCP verifications by our own but it did not work. Please provide resolution and do something to get rid of this issue.

I'm trying to add a new Google ads script for pMAX insights but it was getting blocked. When we authorized the script, an error occurred. Please see the attached screenshot to see the error message. 


Can you please have a look and see what the issue could be?

Hi, 

I have the same problem at single-account level.

I've tried incognito incase it's an extension issue. No cigar.

I'm guessing it's an access issue - I'm 'standard' - but confirmation and/or a link to the relevant docs would be appreciated. I've tried searching and can't find anything on the topic.

It would be interesting to know if this has changed too.
I created a script on Sep 1, 2023 with the same user, same access and same account.

Hi all,

I also faced the same issues. I have similar scripts which I could authorize and are run successfully. I create another new script today but could not authorize with the same pop up - The app is blocked'. Appreciate if you could offer any help!

Our support rep mentioned target ETA to address this issue is by end of next week, 11/24. Fingers crossed!

We have an update.

I would like to inform you that the issue has been resolved for the new scripts. So, I request you to duplicate the existing script and try the authorization flow again on a new script and confirm us?

If the issue still exists, kindly provide us with the below details to further investigate the issue.
  • Google Ads account ID / CID.
  • Name of the new script.
