Script Results "Failed" - No Logs

I have a few scripts that have been running for more than a year that suddenly are returning a failed status with no error logs.  I have not made any changes. The new scripts experience beta is off.

Any thoughts on where to debug in this situation?

I also had this situation. I manage 10 clients and have the same script in all the accounts. 8 of them failed today. I figured I was being forced to switch to beta experience, so I switched all of them to beta. Then all accounts but 2 were fine. However, I can't get the 2 remaining ones to run without failing (and no error logs also).

Same here, MCC scripts failed with no error logs

Hi,

I've found this is affecting only some of my older scripts, however by creating a new script and copying and pasting the old script in to this and then running it is a work around.

Also after looking at the logs within Google App Scripts, I can see the following error for these scripts:

ReferenceError: ScriptyApp is not defined at [unknown function](configuration-common:19:1)

--> quick workaround for single account scripts: switch to Beta and back. That way the scripts are working again (for me at least).

This seems to do the trick for us also. For us the issue started at 5PM UTC+2, but we didn't get any errors logged. Even when we ran it from the script editor.

I'm having the same issue with my daily refreshed MCC scripts which started yesterday - all of them have failed with no errors. I can't switch them to the new beta view (as they are MCC level). Manual refresh also delivers the Failed with no errors issue.

I followed James suggestion of copying & pasting the script into a new script & rerunning which seems to have worked! but i imagine someone having to do this for a large amount of scripts may find this a big hassle! So a direct fix would be appreciated.

Hello everybody,

same problem here!

We (in agency) have a problem with almost all script that are running on many different accounts and different levels (accounts, MCCs) - during last weeks almost all of them changed to status "Failed" without any explanation or report.

These scripts are not the same, there is plenty of different scripts and this happens to all of them. It is maybe tens or even hundreds of scripts.They didn't fail all together at the same time, there is more nad more failing scripts over last weeks and they will not run again.

If we copy and re-authorize the same scripts they will run few times/few days and then again the same error.

Same here for MCC account scripts.
If we copy and re-authorize the same scripts they run till now without errors.
Some scripts are still running without re-authorization
We have also contacted google ads support team but they weren't aware of this issue! 
They told us they will investigate it internally and they will get back by Monday evening!

hi everyone!

I'm facing the same issue with a couple of my MCC scripts.
The workaround copying the script and running a new one helps, but I don't think this is the best solution.
Hopefully, we'll hear back from google ads support team soon.

Thanks for providing more references to the issue. I would like to inform you that our team is aware of this and are working on a fix. Once the fix is in place, your scripts will start working normally and no changes are required from your side to resolve this issue. However, if you need a temporary workaround while we work on a fix, you may duplicate the script and run it. Please see Google Ads scripts failures starting on October 13 for further information.
